ELECTRONICS

EACH COMPONENT IS CRUSIAL FOR THE INTERACTION AND THE USERS EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LUMO. THE FUNCTIONALITY OF EACH COMPONENT IS SHORTLY EXPLAINED IN ORDER TO CREATE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SYSTEM.   

ARDRUINO UNO
THE ARDRUINO CONTROLS THE WHOLE FUNCTIONALILTY, IT IS PROGRAMMED IN ORDER TO LET ALL THE COMPONENTS IN THE RIGHT WAY AND IT ENABLES EACH MODULE TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER.  

LED STRIPS
THE LED STRIPS ARE ATTACHTED TO THE PRINT PLATE AND EACH OTHER. IT WILL PROVIDE THE LUMO THE DESIRED LIGHTING SETTINGS, CONROLLED BY THE ARDRUINO.

PRINT PLATE COMPONENTS
THE BLACK BOX CONTAINS A PRINT PLATE WHICH CONNECTS THE SEVERAL COMONENTS AND THE ARDRUINO TOGETHER. 
MICROCONTROLLER
THE MICRO CONTROLLER ON THE PRINT PLATE IN AN EXTRA CONTROLLER IN ORDER TO FILTER THE NOISE GAINED FROM THE SENSOR AND LIMITING THE AMOUNT OF DATA SEND TO THE ARDRUINO.

CAPACITIVE TOUCH SENSOR
THE CAPACITIVE TOUCH SENSOR RESPONDS TO THE TOUCH OF THE USER. I
F THE USER TOUCHES THE PRODUCT THE SENSOR WILL NOTICE A DIFFERENCE AND THE DATA WILL BE SEND TO THE MICROCONTROLLER. HERE THE SIGNAL WILL BE FILTERED AND SEND TO THE ARDRUINO THAT WILL ADAPT THE LIGHT AND THE INTERACTION ACCORDING TO THE AREA THAT IS TOUCHED.   


ELECTRET MICROPHONE

THE MICROPHONE DETECTS THE SOUND OF THE USER. THE MICROPHONE HOWEVER NEEDS AN AMPLIFIER TO MAKE IT MORE SENSITIVE TO THE ENVIRONMENT. THE DATA FROM THE MICROPHONE WILL BE HANDLED THE SAME WAY AS THE CAPACITIVE TOUCH SENSOR.
