The electronics

The electronics were tested. It seemed that some arduino's were not working properly anymore and also a lot of the LED strips got lost after the previous group returned them. Anyway, the led strips need to be connected paralel to one Arduinom, which is visible in the second video.

FINALIZING MOLD

 The whole mold is totally sanded and the bolts are covered with foam to protect the thermo forming machine. In the beginning of next week we will finish the whole mold, by just adding a wooden strip to the sides.

ELECTRONIC PARTS IN FRAME

Now the steel frame is totally welded, we inserted the electronical parts with the LED strips. In the pictures you can see how strong the light is. The light still needs more diffusion for aesthetical reasons

FRAME

So after the ground part was completed, the tubes could be shaped and the connection strips between the tubes were sawed in the right shapes. Than all these were welded toghether. The next step is to drill holes in the frame to attach the wood. Than the electronics can be attached and the HIMACS can be placed on the frame. Step 1 of the prototyping phase is almost completed!!!
